Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC offers a complete range of health care services for children from birth to 18 years of age. It is home to Pediatric Specialists with a wide range of areas of expertise. They are supported by sophisticated technology and caring ancillary staff that allows them to deliver the best care.

Pediatric Trauma Center
Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC is the only Level II Pediatric Trauma Center in Nevada. Injured children brought here are cared for in a state-of-the-art trauma center.
Organ Transplant Center
Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC is the only center in Nevada, approved by the Center for Medicare Services for solid organ transplants. Presently, kidney transplants are performed in association with the University of Utah Health Care Transplant Center.
Lions Burn Care Center
The only Burn Care Center certified by the State of Nevada provides care for patients with burns at the Children's Hospital
of Nevada at UMC. The Burn Care Unit is staffed by highly-trained personnel. It has specialized equipment including a Hyperbaric Chamber that is unique and the only one of its kind in Nevada.
Pediatric Sedation Services
The Pediatric Sedation Service is the only one of its kind in the state. Children's Hospital
of Nevada at UMC provides safe, effective, and efficient sedation for children undergoing tests or procedures such as MRI, CT scan, EEG, kidney or liver biopsy. Children’s Hospital
of Nevada has a dedicated suite specially designed for this purpose. The Pediatric Sedation Services team is comprised of the Pediatric Intensivists, a Critical Care nurse, and a nurse assistant. Use of this service has led to better procedure outcomes and fewer repeated tests.
Cystic Fibrosis Center of Nevada
Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC is home to the Cystic Fibrosis Center of Nevada. For over two decades the Cystic Fibrosis Center of Nevada has been the only center in the state of Nevada accredited by the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We are proud to have the only Board-certified, Pediatric pulmonologist in the state of Nevada
as our Medical Director. Our multidisciplinary approach provides both comprehensive patient care and education to the tri-state region of Southern Nevada, Northern Arizona, and Southern Utah.
