The pediatric program's strength at Children's Hospital of Nevada at UMC is the commitment of its medical staff. Greater than 50 percent of the active and associate pediatric medical staff members are in General Pediatrics or Primary Care, followed by Neonatology/Perinatology, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and all others. Areas for future pediatric growth include Neurosurgery and Pathology. There are several specialists on the Medical Center's staff with pediatric training, available at the Medical Center, that are not listed below.
